Our Land In Westcliffe, CO With veiws of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains "The Blood of Christ"

The kids with their hiking sticks sitting on another small rock formation and John climbing up an incline on the back side of the land.
A view from a little farther up the land. The mountain you see is just on the other side of the street that runs in front of the land.
A view from the top of the land.
The "pit/cave" on the top of the land.
A view of the road on the left side of the land.
Another view from part way up the land. The mountain you see is just on the other side of the street that runs in front of the land.
A closer view of the last picture.
A view of the road taken from the back of the big open space.
A view of where the picture above was taken.
A view from the road.
Terri and the kids in front of the "pit/cave" with the front of the land behind us.
John climbing up the back of the land. There are some very tall tress on the back and lots of rocks. Great for hiking trails!
A view on the side of the land looking down.
John and two of the kids sitting on a rock formation facing the road.
A view of John and the kids next to the dry creek that runs down the land. We thinkg that during the spring it will have melted snow and ice running down it.
A view of the big clear spot from higher up.
Another view from part way up the land. The mountain you see is just on the other side of the street that runs in front of the land.
This is a view from part way up the land. This is still facing the road and is almost to the top of the land.
A View of the other side on the left in the back. That is a dog farm. When you are right next to it like we were you can hear them pretty well but you can't hear them when you are on the top or the other side.
A View of the land right behind this one. The house is to the right of the land, towards the end of the markers.
Another back view from part way up the land.
A view from part way up the land facing towards the back of the land.
The CAVE! John was sooooo excited!!!! It is just on the side of our land. The boys explored it and they think it was a miners cave.
A view from part way up the land. The mountain you see is just on the other side of the street that runs in front of the land.

This is at the marker along the road in the front on the side. There was lots of snow/ice on the ground on that side of the land. The taller trees are on that side of the land, as well as some flat spots to build on.
These pictures follow the back of the land around to the other side.
This had a really nice building spot and view.
We walked to each marker to get a better idea of where our land was. It took a couple of hours to make it all the way around. 35 acres is a LOT!
Very pretty trees back here.
The kids loves eating the snow. We kept teasing them by telling them the deer had gone potty there! We saw tracks of many kinds of animals. But the snow was white so it was clean, we just had fun telling them that. They didn't believe us anyway and had a ball.
Another great flat and pretty spot in the back side of the land.
Large trees and some snow.
A closer look at the above photo. A really pretty spot.
The trees had a pretty mist of snow on them.
This is a view taken on our land looking out towards our neighbors in the back.
This is another picture of the back of the land standing on the property line looking out. The land to the right is ours with some of the cleared land but the mountain view is across the road.
This is towards the end of the property line all the way back. The property line starts going up the mountain at this point.
This is a view from the top of the land with the snow caps on the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the background. What a beautiful sight.
This is taken on the road that runs behind our land. The photos from above are taken down in those trees. The road is not on our land at this point in the picture.
This is taken with a zoom lense at the same spot as the one above.
This photo was taken in the town of Westcliffe, CO on the end of main street. Our hotel was just a couple of blocks from the spot it was taken. Our land is 15 minutes from the town. These are the "blood of Christ" mountains! What a beautiful sight to see when you are in town. We are amazed at God's handiwork!
