Every day is a day you can do
something special with your
children. There are
opportunities everywhere!
January: Make the first a
really big deal. Talk about the
old year and the fun things you
did. Then make some plans for
the new year. Even if they are
very simple, like see a movie
together once a month.
February: Make homemade
Valentines and give them away
to people in your neighborhood,
like the mailcarrier, fireman,
policeman, librarain...
March: Go on a "spring walk"
looking for new life all around
you. Make shamrock cookies
together, share them with
someone.
April: Have an egg hunt in back
yard. Paint eggs together the
night before. Read the story of
Jesus and share with your
children how much He loves
them.
May: Dad's, take the kids to
get special mommy's day
pictures made. Do something
special with mom to celebrate
her, always include the kids,
they are why she is a mom!
June: Mom's, your turn. Make
something special for dad's
office that will remind him of
how much his children (and you)
love him. Do something special
with dad on his day!
July: Make special plans to do
something red/white/blue. Go
watch fireworks together. Have
a picnic by the lake.
August: Take your child to go
buy some "school supplies" and
then make a neat craft with
them together! Go fly a kite at
the park. Sit down under a tree
and read a book with a glass of
cold lemonade and chocolate chip
cookies.
September: Look for fall
leaves together. Go pumpkin
picking. Go on a nature walk and
see how many of God's
creatures you can find along the
way.
October: Carve a pumpkin.
Make a homemade costume for
the Fall Festival together. Plan
on dressing up, too, even if it is
just something very simple.
Attend a Fall Festival, or two.
November: Talk about the first
Thanksgiving. Make a turkey
with colored feathers. Plan your
Thanksgiving feast together.
Have each family member tell
one things they want to have for
the feast. Make lists of what
you are thankful for and post on
fridge.
December: Tell your children
about Jesus' birth. Take your
family to a Christmas musical
program at your church or a
friends. Make Christmas cookies
and give them away to the
people who do things for you,
like the postman. Sing your
favorite Christmas songs
together.

MTCKC is doing our PNO a little differently. We will have it every Friday (unless otherwise stated) from 6:30 pm - midnight. It will be $25 per family up to 4 kids. If you have more than 4 children it is an additional $5/each. We will have things for all age children, not just preschoolers! This will be a great time for parents to get out for a date night, a Mom's/Dad's Night Out or a time to just drop the kids off for some fun and go back home for a relaxing evening. There will be themes for each week. The sooner you book the sooner we can plan activities to fit their ages and needs. We are so excited about the possibilities this will bring about. We are going to have so much fun!!!! January will be a winter theme. February will have a heart theme. etc....
Our PNO's are as follows: January 8, 15, 22, & 29 February 12, 19 March 5, 12, 19, 26
|

During April & May we worked on our flower garden. We will took pictures of our work and posted them for the parents to see. We will be taking pictures of our other seasons and special projects as we go along through the year. We just love to share with parents the fun things we do!

Your Child Needs to Bring:
|
If your child is here on a daily basis and under contract please
make sure you have these supplies here for your child.
A nap mat with child's name on it, a blanket or mat cover, a bag
with child's name on it to hold the blanket, diapers (if
appropriate), wipe refills, and a change of clothes. During the
spring-fall months please make sure they have a swimsuit they can
leave here. During winter months please make sure they have a
jacket or coat. A carseat that is appropriate for your childs age
and weight is also required. These things should all be something
you can leave here instead of taking them home every day. For
infants please provide pre-made bottles and baby food for that
day until the age of one. Thanks for your help!
